He specializes in the main types of eye refractive errors, or, more simply, in typical vision problems: myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), astigmatism, presbyopia.

Recommendations before visiting:
- If you have glasses or a prescription, bring them with you.
- Soft contact lenses should be removed at least 30 minutes before the visit.
- Drinking alcohol may cause dryness or irritation in the eyes, especially during the eye exam. It is not recommended to drink alcohol the night before the examination.
- It’s a good idea to bring sunglasses if you’re taking the pupil dilation test.
How the vision test is performed
1. Getting to know each other. Share information about your vision with your doctor. As much as possible, tell about the medical history of your family, because visual disorders are often hereditary.
2. Analysis of the current correction (if any). If you have brought prescriptions or glasses with you, we will check how well they fit you.
3. Autorefractometry. Popularly known as “computer vision diagnostics”. This is a method used as a starting point for the ophthalmologist when conducting subjective refraction tests.
4. Subjective method of refraction examination. This is a vision test. We will evaluate visual acuity on a sign projector. Lens selection is done right in front of your eyes to see how each eye performs at different distances – both near and far. We then test them together to assess how well your eyes work together as a pair. The interpretation of the results allows us to determine a prescription for glasses.
5. Conclusion and consultation. Based on the test results, the doctor will provide recommendations for preventive measures to maintain eye health. You may be recommended corrective lenses or a change in your current prescription.
6. Prescription. It is stored in the electronic card. It can be requested during the store’s working hours by calling +38 068 160-50-05 or via Telegram. A printed copy is issued immediately after the examination.
Vision examination in children and adolescents. It is performed with pupil dilation using Cyclomed eye drops.
The drug is dropped into the eye, after which the adaptive muscle relaxes and the pupil dilates. This is a standard procedure during a vision test, which can be applied to adult patients, if necessary. In children and adolescents, it is associated with the peculiarities of a growing organism. For adults, the procedure is used in case of accommodation spasm, when it is impossible to determine the true refraction of the eye.
Be prepared:
- Restoration of the original pupil width and visual acuity usually takes up to 24 hours, but in some people it may take several days. People with darker eye color may need higher doses of the drops.
- During this time, you should refrain from driving.
- Sensitivity to bright light will increase.
- It will be difficult to read and work at a computer.

In addition to vision diagnostics, we carry out a set of measurements to ensure that future glasses work effectively.
If you imagine that you have the best prescription and the perfect lenses are selected according to it, inaccurate measurements before fitting can prevent you from achieving the expected result.
After manually marking the frame, we connect the Zeiss i.Terminal mobile center system to obtain the necessary parameters for precise fitting of the lenses into the frame.
