A five-generation family brand originally from New York, founded in 1899. Ranked 21st among the world’s oldest opticians. The founder of the brand, Hyman Moscot, sold the first eyewear on the streets from a cart in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, and 120 years later, branded stores operate in Paris, Tokyo, Seoul, Rome and other megacities. The brand is famous for its iconic Lemtosh and Miltzen models, and John Lennon, Andy Warhol, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, and other stars have worn the brand’s glasses at various times. The business is run by family members only, starting with the founder Hayman and continuing with his fifth-generation descendant Zach Moscot, who is currently the chief designer. In Ukraine, original Moscot sunglasses and frames are available only in the Hello Glasses store.
