ic!Berlin

First, there was ic!Berlin, a brand that started out producing flexible and durable eyewear made of sheet steel and using screwless temple attachment. Seven years later, a spin-off created Mykita, and a later split gave birth to Haffmans & Neumeister. In this way, a distinctive line of German indie eyewear emerged – bright and self-sufficient, but at the same time related by certain ideas and personalities.

ic!Berlin was founded in 1996 in Berlin, the city around which the brand’s style is built. These are massive and noticeable glasses that do not lose much in lightness and simplicity. Giving preference to their followers, we neglected the somewhat wild and urban ic!Berlin glasses. However, we decided to select the most interesting models, thus representing all the links of this important story in the latest optics.
