The model is named after the former owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball club, Peter O’Malley, who wore a similar frame shape. The glasses gained wide popularity after Christian Bale’s character wore them in American Psycho. O’Malley remains one of Oliver Peoples’ most recognizable models and is one of the iconic Vintage Glass designs that have been produced since 1987.
